As we continue to explore the objectives for this week, review the attached film in the link that focuses on men in nursing. Think and research if necessary, how men who entered nursing as a professional career in years past were perceived by society, especially men, to be less than "a real man", in comparison to perceptions of today. Years ago, male nurses were prohibited to work in specialty areas such as Labor and Delivery within many hospital settings. As you review the film, consider the similarities and differences to female nurses. You will be expected to discuss the similarities and differences along with your opinions during our next class session in three days.
